A year ago my man and I was roadtrippin in New Zealand.

I know there must be lots of good bicycle stories out there. If you’ve got a special, crazy, different, especially nice, funny or even sad bike memory, please share it with me. Send it by clicking on the “send me your story”. Write on, in Swedish or English, and name is optional so it can be completely anonymous! To know your age and country could be sweet though.

“This is how Malmö council treat their city cyclists. The hard working commuters, who take the train from here, don’t have room to put there bicycle in a stand. So they place it next to it, hoping it won’t be in anyones way. Then these people come and steal them.”
Well this is very sad and stupid. It’s kind of obvious that the supply and demand is unbalanced here. Looks like there is plenty of room for a few more bike stands on that spot.
And there’s no point in talking about budgets here. Those little commuters are gold mines when it comes to labour and tax relieves on the health care system. Society even makes money from supporting them. It’s simple science, google it. Every coin you put into facilitating cycling in a city will give you 4 coins back. Some studies even show a benefit to cost ratio of 20:1. And there’s a lot of good examples out there. In other words, if its all about money… go ahead and spend it on the cyclists.
Perhaps even build a bicycle garage. Problem solved.

Gettin’ out of the bicycle garage in Amsterdam.
Oh well hello winter! Kinda about time. Uppsala is tucked in a thin blanket of snow. Doesn’t stop people from pedaling tho.

Today when I was riding my bike home I saw a lady cycling with ski goggles on.

I’ve been horse riding today with my friend Ellie. This is Ines, she showed us the way through the woods.
Off topic? Perhaps but I do think a post about horse riding works well under this blog’s name…
